saturday: my new sunday

Some life changes! At work, I've moved from a Mon-Fri schedule to a Sun-Thu schedule, to help handle/manage Sunday talk shows (political talking heads for the rest of my life, as 2016 election talk gears up already). Originally the plan was to move to that schedule after moving to Texas, but we've pushed it up since I can handle it now.

A really good discussion on the phenomenon of "rude Chinese tourists". As always with general discussions, some comments veer toward racism or overgeneralization, but the top-voted comments are pretty insightful.

In happier news, here is the continuing saga of a gay Buzzfeed writer and Brother Orange, and their fated transcontinental relationship. It's super cute! It's so easy to get emotionally invested in their crazy story but also in the very real friendship they built with each other and each other's families, and it's cool to see how much they learn about themselves and other cultures! Also: yay bonding over food!
