Instead of studying for Contracts, I need help for this Very Serious Situation: I'm trying to figure out what drama I want to watch over winter break.

So, what's your favorite Taiwanese drama*?

Keep in mind that I think Wu Chun is pretty to look at. I'm superficial! Plot and pretty actors are both important factors in this decision.

Okay, so all I really want is Geng's drama - HSM music and all - but since that won't air until around Chinese New Year, I'll have to occupy myself with something else in the meantime. Like cheesy romantic comedies.

*Please, please stick with Chinese! This is my excuse to better my Chinese, because it'd still be possible to watch it without subs, it's easier if I don't feel up to reading subs atm, aaaand...other stuff.

As for favorite Taiwanese drama... uhmmm. Probably Meteor Garden. 'cause I am old-fashioned, whee. And. Well. I like the ones set in ancient China and wuxia dramas, so I also like 少年包青天 and most of the dramas based on 金庸's novels (射雕英雄传, 神雕侠侣, 倚天屠龙记, 雪山飞狐, 天龙八部, etc.).

Of course, there are like five different versions for all the wuxia dramas, but... alksfdjlakjf--I'll give you a more comprehensive list later? :x

I like the old wuxia dramas too, but they tend to be really, realy long. I can watch those with my parents though. :3 They enjoy those.

Idk, looking more for silly feel-good romantic comedies? I suppose I don't have very high standards. I will be on break and not using my brain!

My all time favorite would be Huan Zhu Ge Ge (還珠格格), season 1 and 2. Of course, since it's pretty old it has no Wu Chun XD But the plot and the casts are awesome. I really really love it. For more modern drama, I'd recommend Mars (戰神) like pinocchio_hae. It's one of the dramas where I personally think the casts can act to save their lives. Newer dramas don't really interest me lately, mainly because of the decreasing in acting quality.

Oh I love seasons 1 & 2 of Huan Zhu Ge Ge - it's just so long! I have other things to do over break other than sitting in front of the TV/computer. D: I'm probably going to go with a shorter romantic comedy if I can.

Asjhgkjdslagsd Wu Chun all over my body, ok. ALL OVER MY BODY. I totally pre-ordered his movie... just because he's in it... and suffered though Hot Shot and Tokyo Juliet (I hate basketball and that guy from F4, and TJ just sucked.) I love Taiwanese drama, ok. WATCH SMILING PASTA IF YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT. AHSDHGKJS CUTENESS OMG. I've also been watching Miss No Good, because I think Rainy's adorable, but she's SO STUPID in this one that it kinda makes it painful to watch at times.

In conclusion... re-watch any Wu Chun dramas.

Ahahahah yes, he's so nice to look at. :9 I thought about Hot Shot too but I really don't like Jerry Yan (that guy from F4 alskjd ugh). I'm intrigued by the movie, because it's a new take on a classic Chinese legend. And has Wu Chun. ♥

花樣少年少女 is amazing, and so is Meteor Garden. 公主小妹 has Wu Chun, but it starts to get a little annoying after a while...

But I think you should go with "It Started With a Kiss". (Unless you're like me and get annoyed when the title is misleading, but you should still watch it anyway.)

Okay, I should just tell everyone I am efinitely watching 花樣少年少女, haha. I watched 6 episodes of it last year and then had school interferences. I don't care what people say about it: I adore it for being funny and exaggerated and like the manga. :3 Plus, pretty to look at.

Might try to Romantic Princess, but yeah, we'll see how far that goes.

i accidentally stumbled across a chinese drama yesterday called Brown Sugar Macchiato

its about 6 boys who have to live in a house and then 9 girls terrify them at school but they all hate each other but they really actually grow to not?
idk. i didnt watch it since i was searching for Band of Brothers and nothing, nothing can keep me away from Heechul fail, but it looked alright if you wanted to check it out.
