Pre-ordering the new SJM mini-album!

I'm tight on funds this semester, but I promised myself that I would buy two things no matter what: (1) SJM album, and (2) Super Show II DVD. ♥ My biases are obvious, consistent, and true.

The English titles have nothing whatsoever to do do with the original title, except 03, which is a direct translation. Google tells me 動情 = estrus

...Dictionary.com tells me estrus = period of heat or rut; the period of maximum sexual receptivity of the female.

This is not what the song title actually means, but I'm hilariously entertained anyway.

I'm considering downloading the new Epik High album since everyone is so !!! over them. Tbh, while I loved Pieces, part one and Remapping the Human Soul, their worldwide album and Remixing the Human Soul didn't really ~speak~ to me. But this is all new Korean stuff, which I think is more my thing. Idk, I loved them more before they got big and overhyped and put on pedestals as the ~only real and true artistic souls resisting the oppression of the entertainment industry~. I liked Epik until I think fandom's adulation got to their heads a little and they started taking themselves too seriously too. The new album is hopefully less so - the teaser for Wannabe was hliarious so. :'D

hee i was like DDDDDD: HAVE NO MONEY FOR ALBUMS THIS MONTH, SO DEPRESSING, but then my mom gave me a little prize for being a studious person XD and i plan to spend it on kpop/sjm lol.
and omg i am so anxious about ssII dvd. but i also dread it cause fuck, the camera man had the camera pointed towards me for a good minute or two during wonder boy and because i didn't know all the lyrics to that i just jumped and smiled and probably looked like a fucking idiot D:

SO agreed on the Epik High part. I feel sort of bad about feeling like this, but I mean, this is sort of ridiculous. Their music is good, but if they themselves make it out to be something so UTTERLY SPECIAL and amazing, then it sort of turns me off :-/ plus the fandom is kind of idiotic these days. /still loves High Society the most.

Oh there is going to be an SSII DVD for sure - they were filming on Saturday night (7/18) and SM likes to make its money. It's probably not out until next year though; no pre-orders or "offical" announcements, but don't worry. It will exist. ♥! alksdjf everyone needs it so bad.

I actually had the chance to meet and have Epik High sign my Pieces Part I cd and a poster and I left with mixed impressions. I like them as musicians but am not that interested in actually meeting them again. No matter how much Hyukkie loves them

True, I was basically rushed in and out of the store by the Verizon staff, but Tablo seemed really disinterested and like he didn't want to be there. Mithra and Tukutz were pretty giddy but we have language problems.

I like how most of SJM's titles have nothing to do with the actual meaning in Chinese lol. I am trying to resist buying anything fandom related at the moment, I just paid tuition and books ><;
