DOS) hoyah and I were talking about reading comprehension in fics and got to thinking that it'd be hilarious if people had to take quizzes on them afterwards:

1. did hankyung make heechul cry by (a) running over his cat, (b) losing his stuff, (c) breaking up sj, or (d) all of the above?

2. what did heechul mean when he said "it's okay. it's time i got a new phone anyway."? (open-ended, 15 pts. one point per word used in your explanation. negative points if you go over.)

This a not-so-oblique reference to my latest HanChul fic (do not read if avoiding fandom drama and angst, it is both because I am wretched).

TRES) I AM SO SICK OF WRITING YOU HAVE NO IDEA. My life goes in cycles which basically consist of me whining that I haven't written in forever and I wish I could because I feel empty without it and me whining that omfg I am so tired of writing why is there so much why does it never end AUGH. :( Apologies for subjecting you to a minor glimpse of it. I think I'll go read books/fic instead. Yay, passive activities!

QUATRO) I should make a post talking about Sherlock Holmes and how much I loved it. But I am lazy. I LOVED IT. There was action and mystery and gay romance! Holmes and Watson were the ultimate bickering married couple, but yet I loved Mary! And that other girl, who did stuff! And I'm very happy about the explanations and the references to the Professor - eee, true to the books and a set-up for the sequel. :3 This movie needs fic for me to read.

It was! There is already fic for it! It was just so fun to watch, but without going over the top like I feared it would.

I just watched Sherlock Holmes yesterday. I thought it was going to be too slashy (which it was <3) for my family to enjoy, but they loved it too. XD I wasn't sure if it matched up to the books, but since you say it did, I'm glad! Time to borrow some Sherlock Holmes.

Well it was like the books in that all the scientific explanations were given at the end, using clues you'd seen already but didn't understand until Holmes explained them. Of course, the style is still very different since it was on film and fast-paced and had girls all over and skdgh. It was just entertaining all around. :D YAY FOR IT.
