Kibum leaves to study theatre in England, of all places. He can't even speak English properly, Donghae desperately wants to point out, but Heechul beats him to this. Heechul always beats him to these statements, because in the time it takes for something witty and observant like that to percolate to the part of his brain connected to his mouth, his favourite hyung has already told his favourite dongsaeng this and the two of them have already exchanged several barbed remarks. Donghae settles for giving Kibum the Sad Eyes of Doom.

It doesn't work, obviously, but at least Kibum will be carrying the guilt in his soul when he's off learning to speak English and be theatrical in London. Donghae says as much to Heechul, when they're getting smashed in Heechul's room. There are many bottles lined up in neat rows on the floor; they'd spent the last ten minutes giggling to each other and placing the bottles according to colour, shape, and size. Ninjas, Heechul says in his Quest to Crush Donghae's Dreams, do not even exist.

The only consolation is that Heechul says this while petting at Donghae's hair, while Donghae snuffles drunkenly into his shoulder; only Donghae is ever allowed to snuffle drunkenly into Heechul's shoulder. Anyone else would be shoved away while Heechul laughed at their misery. Even Kibum. Especially Kibum.
