a little crazy in the head after too much road

So today I drove back from NC to STL - 13 hour drive by my lonesome. I complained a lot about Virginia because I've hated VA since college and my stupid fucking sorority's mandatory roadtrips (sorry those of you who live there; the area around DC is excepted from my blistering hate!) but it wasn't as bad as WV because toll roads I hate toll roads. Though driving the winding mountain roads probably kept me awake.

KY was unremarkable, IN was horrible and wouldn't end (this probably had to do with my promising myself I'd stop for dinner after I got out of the state and then it wouldn't end), and IL is boring and flat. MO is the same. The Midwest blows, you guys. :( I'm sorry, two years here and I still have no love for it - it doesn't help that I went to the beach when I was back in NC so now I'm even more *__________* at my home state.

Also, I like our license plate design best. :D

I am cheered and although I will hate driving for at least two days, I will go read some SPN/J2 porn and glee about how fucking adorable/precious/happy Jenny and Danny look at their wedding (tyty Kendra!). alksdghdkfj you guys, THEY WILL HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL BABIES. Look at their wide, wide smiles. I hope they are happy foreveeeerrr. Also, Jared was there and a grooomsman! Glad you got to MO, okay. Was wondering when you were heading back. :/ You know what I hate about IN? The ridiculous curving roads in Hoosier National Park, that have cliffs on either side...and the roads that are fucking 75 mph. It scares the crap out of me.

Yup, safely back but so tired. I was going to be productive today and start cleaning/preparing to move but ughhh it's rainy and I kind of just want to die.

I was on I-64W the entire time so I didn't even pass the curving roads, just straight and flat through souther IN for me. :| I got some fast curvy mountain roads in West Virginia though.

GOD DON'T REMIND ME ABOUT THE MUPPET BABIES, SOB. JENSEN AND DANNEEL WILL MAKE UP FOR THAT.

I think my favorite part of it was that I ran out of windshield wiper fluid partway through WV, and since it was snowing, all the cars were kicking up salty crap all over my windows. Visibility sucked.

I like tea; I hate honey. Bleckies. But at the moment, that requires my navigating a flight of stairs, and my sense of balance is severely suspect, at the moment. And resting...um...not really happening right now. :(

Btw, I find it hilarious to chat on IM and through comments. I once was chatting on the phone, spamming Facebook, and chatting via gtalk with the same person, at the same time. Best part? All three mediums had a different topic of conversation.

UGH SERIOUSLY, EVERYTHING IN THE MIDWEST IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Pennsylvania goes on forever maybe but at least it has stuff. I hope you find cool things to do somewhere other than IN... It'd be such a huge change from Toronto. :|

IS MICHIGAN PART OF THE MIDWEST? I always forget since it's so far north and not nearly as flat and boring as the rest of the Midwest. Also, I think I tend to not hate places that are by large bodies of water on principle because that automatically changes up the landscape and weather.

But Michigan by the lake in the summer sounds lovely. *__________*

See, that's funny, because I don't consider Missouri to be part of the Midwest. Anything south or west of Iowa is either Great Plains or the South, as far as I'm concerned. *shrugs*

Huh that's true, the Midwest seems to be a very nebulously defined area - OH is the Midwest, but the Great Plains are too, for some people. Mostly I hate the Great Plains states then...so flat, so boring. :| The South I also quibble over defining, haha. There's Deep South (MS, AL, etc) but NC and VA still technically qualify as South. Oh US geography...

I'm here for the summer to do some volunteer legal work, hopefully get a paying part-time nonlegal job, and just...chill, I guess. Read books! :D
