Things which are beautiful:

(1) Being done with law school in STL! I'm off to Singapore on Jan 4, where traveling > studying. Yeah babyyy. Just gotta pack/clean before I head on home to NC to family. Then pack again to go on our holiday cruise. Then pack again to go to Singapore. Living out of suitcases xx.

(2) CHRIS FUCKING PINE IS BEAUTIFUL. Jesus.



All classed up in This Means War? I'd hit it, absolutely. But in a white tee, worn jeans, scuffed up boots, and sporting some fabulous scruff? I need that to hit me. Like the fist of an angry god. I don't even know where that expression comes from BUT GOD SO FITTING, DO WANT.

(4) SO HELLO, LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE. This is my reaction post:



Holy shit this episode was intense. First thing I noticed: they sacrificed the usual happy feeling and banter for intense intensity. Forreals. The action, the pacing, the pressed emotions - they went all out hardcore for this. Danny probably actually had smallest role this episode, which is not usually the case. Steve, Chin, Kono all got major emotional bits and it was a really nice fabulous change. They all did fucking amazing jobs.

Chin Ho backstory ffffff. Awesome. God, the Kono and Chin silent glance? Amazing from both of them. And the "aloha" scene, fuck, made me cry.

Liked the Steve/Kono partnership throughout this episode too. And the way that Steve, even while frustrated and stressed and angry, even when he clearly wanted to just tell Danny to shut the fuck up while they were waiting to talk to Sang Min and Danny was going off about the tree - even then all Steve said was reassurance to Danny that he would be a good father to Grace.

Though one side-note from the OTP: Danny calls Sang Min "babe" too, so...alas for the theory he only calls Steve that? I was quite amused by the way they ganged up on Sang Min though: falling back on the good cop, bad cop routine. Danny has this rapport with Sang Min, sort of; not surprised at the end he, along with the governor, was "displeased" about losing Sang Min. Speaking of which, I wasn't sure how I feel about him turning traitor last night but upon reflection I think it's more interesting. We got shown that he is not all bad, he has depth, but he's still a criminal, you know. Not a ball of orange fluff. This is pretty consistent with his character.

Love Kono getting to be bad-fucking-ass sniper. And of course Steve's awesome Navy SEAL beating. And Chin Ho/Danny bonding and Chiiiiiin fuck, Chin was amazing this episode. The collapse of relief at the end there? Damn.

(But aw, Steve, can't you tell Danny just doesn't want to see you go to jail? He doesn't want to have to break in another partner.)

OH MY GOD STEVE SEWING THOUGH. How adorable, especially so cleaned up in a real shirt with a real collar and buttons and everything! I knew the end would be sappy, Jesus could you two get any more married? Fuck me, Steve's smile at the end, where they zoom in close? And Danny staring right back at him while hugging Grace? Just...shoot me now, show. They are so married and in love it hurts.

OH SNAP I KNEW THE END WAS COMING THOUGH. CHARIMAAAAAAAAAAAN.

Jesus this was a draining episode, and at the same time the Hawaiian scenery was actually some of the most gorgeous I've ever seen it.

GOD I LOVE EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW SO MUCH FFFFFFF. ♥♥♥

I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Hawaii Five-0. I was lurking through your journal for T-Hard stuff when I saw the interviews, and Daniel Dae Kim's presence pretty much cemented my need to watch the show.

AND THEN THE OTP HIT. I am kind of obsessed and converting pretty much everyone I know into fans. Either that or being an embarrassing public menace, but considering my terrorism comes in the form of Alex O'Loughlin spam, I doubt the FBI cares.
