I never really cared when I was in NC either. I remember their '02 Cup run, but I moved away from NC right before their 05-06 season, when they won the Cup. It's been so much fun getting into them, though. You should definitely check out all the ASG coverage from last year.

Oh god all of them? Okay so far, like everyone else, I'm all about the Hawks and a wee bit of the Hurricanes. But PK Subban and Carey Price give me all the Habs feels. I don't know or care that much about other teams yet, but I also just downloaded and watched the last two All Star games so IDEK. I feel like my life and judgment are spiraling out of control and I like it.

But my first, last, and most stunted OTP will always be Kaner/Tazer. FML

ETA: oh and there are the married French Canadians, Danny Briere and Claude Giroux. They basically lived in the same house and raised children together. Hockey is so magically gay.

aksjdlfk Kaner/Tazer! I was so ??? about them at first because I jumped blindly into hockey RPF through Seabs/Duncs (high school AU!) and knew nothing. But then primers happened. And fics! And then Youtube! And now I'm as alksdfjld over them as everyone else, to the point where hell yeah I'm watching the Blackhawks game tonight and spending this week actually learning about hockey.

I figure this will entail learning about teams/bromances outside of the Hawks and Canes. I am excited. :D
