Poor Bobby. I got briefly invested in Bobby/Getzy, but then there wasn't enough of it, and then I started feeling pissy at the Ducks. And he's practically a hometown boy for the Flyers. So yeah, rooting for that, though they should be spending any capspace they have on D.

I'm all signed up for all the Flyers alerts (I THINK) but I'm still paranoid I'm going to miss preseason ticket sales opening, so post when you and celerywench get yours, yeah? If you think of it?

Poor Sasha; he's gotten all the shit stirred this summer because of free agency. I am definitely excited to see the Canes play - well, regardless I'd be excited but now EXTRA EXCITED because maybe with new awesome top 6 forwards our offense will start producing amazing things. And MORE JEFF ON ICE MAKES ME EXCITED.

Yeah, I still ship Bobby/Getzy fannishly, but it would make me happy if he were in Philly - though you are also right that they really ought to be bulking up the D. Who knows what Holmgren will do next though? Nobody knows!

I will definitely let you know but I am not nearly as on top of things as I pretend to be, haha. So let me know if you hear as well? It would be awesome if we all got into the game and got to meet up. :D

Ugh seriously don't think about it. But to be fair it's a a lot of money for just one year too. Salaries in the NHL range from $2.5 on the low end to $.7.5 on the very high end per year, but contracts are usually for more than a year blah blah boring details.

SO MUCH MONEY THOUGH. For real. Should've gone into pro sports, dammit.

I see you hating on the Canes in imp's post. >:(((( Actually I'm way less defensive/butthurt about them, haha, even though they are my forever team/team of my heart/etc. I am way more defensive about the Flyers. Probably because fandom has so many Pens fans and while I actually do like Sid and Geno SOMETIMES I JUST WANT THE PENS TO FALL INTO A DITCH OKAY.
