Real life rears its ugly head once again! Not excited about graduation, actually, because the Future is always a terrifying thing for me. I am not a great long-term planner. I wish I knew my path. But for now, some pressing short-term things need to be dealt with, so I am off to do those.

On the bright side, in late April I still have two trips awaiting me: Thailand & Taiwan. ♥ Taiwan! I am so excited. Yes, SJM will still be there. My friend asked if I'd stalk them, to which I replied emphatically, "LOLOL no. I love them but I will not trade my shopping/eating time to stalk them." I may just wish very hard they might randomly appear in front of me, but that is about as much effort as I'm going to put into it. That said, Zhou Mi, feel free to stumble into my life at any moment~

Anyway, hiatus commencing now. Not sure how that will affect my Twitter use yet as I always need an outlet, but fandom activities will cease temporarily. With the exception, of course, of help_japan: biddings open until March 31st! I will work something out with the winner of my thread / people I end up winning.

Back from the Philippines, safe and sound. My thoughts and prayers out to Japan in the wake of the tsunami earthquake and its fallout. I've heard talk of a lot of friends doing help_japan but I'm barely sorted with my life right now, much less fandom. I'm thinking any and all donations would be welcome at this point, regardless of fannish contributions. If I do decide to sign up, I'll drop a promo link, just in case anyone might be interested.

My post about the Philippines trip is here. My Vietnam & Cambodia trip post is delayed forever because I suck like that. I am very happy to report meeting ch_ar_me, who is tiny and lovely irl, although both of us were so tired when we finally met that it was probably not the easiest of times to bond! danii06 continues to be outstanding and amazing and basically the backbone of my trip. Ilu both.

Forgive my absence and exhaustion; traveling always ends like this. I've been up since 7:30am yesterday (it's a long story) and I am in a terrible state of mind about almost everything.

I do hear that Taiwan was good to SJM though, and that makes me smile. ♥
