scanlations are srs bizness

So I was up in Pittsburgh with [livejournal.com profile] nightengale last week, right? And we did things like watch Drive & Heroes and also movies! But while I was reading her manga Banana Fish (WHICH YOU SHOULD ALL READ AND LOVE, even if it's impossible to get your hands on), I tried to pimp her some of the shiny BL stuff I love a lot (other than Boy Princess 'cause that's been pimped already, hee).

When I opened up my scanlation folder, my wife did a double-take.

I'm sure some of you have more! (Does it count if you have an external harddrive? 'Cause I don't.)

If you want something you know/think I have, feel free to request. I have 15.8GB of stuff. I must have something you want. ::offers her body up on a platter::

alskjfldk. I don't know. I think I'm giving up on my SSBB story. I'm kind of in a bad mood and don't want to write and also I would rather read. I have been trying for ages (read: two days) to get my hands on Brethren: Raised by Wolves by W.A. Hoffman. And now Melusine as recced by [livejournal.com profile] hametsuenorondo.

On an more RL-oriented note, am I fucked if I take the LSATs in late September/early October instead of June (if I want to send off applications this fall)? Probably. Aw, shit.

This post is full of whining, sry. :( I'm sure I will cheer up later.

...I think I have lost the words to convey my awe. Oh my god, what anime do you have? Everything ever? :O

Don't I WISH!

The CD's are all my old favorites, which I'm slowly buy on DVD, or things I ordered to try out before I found out how to work Bittorrent and MiRC. The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Fushigi Yuugi, Graviation's OVA, the first 60-some episodes of Bleach, Kyou Kara Maou, and Naruto, etc. At three or four episodes per CD, you go through a lot quickly.

The hard drives are all new stuff I download habitually, waiting to be watched in huge chunks of time when I'm bored. Very, very handy.

Right now, though, I'm psyched that Ged Senki has been fansubbed! Studio Ghibli is made of awesome, ya know. ^_~
