SJM on CRI (April 9, 2008) - Interview Translation
Sujuman is actually making me learn Chinese, damn it. This is a rough translation of the CRI interview, which has too much Korean for my liking, and a lot of subs. And some Chinese, actually spoken!

I'll do Part 1...eventually. It doesn't interest me as much. :/ This is parts 2-5, with the games and the laughter and the incessant boytouching, yum.
Disclaimer: these are really rough and on-the-fly. unpolished, which is why my capitalization is arbitrary (or missing altogether) and...yeah. just so you get the general gist of their convo. (i'm also lazy about looking up things i don't know.) p.s. my mandarin is sketch. i comprehend more by listening than anything else, but i got a lot of stuff off the subs from when they were speaking korean. everything's kind of a mess but i hope you at least get an idea of their interaction. :D
SJM - CRI Interview Part 2/5
SJM is split into team A and team B; each team has one member who has to guess what the others are acting. the others are given prompts of olympic sports that they have to act out. each team gets 3 minutes.
uhh, not subbing these, but ZM KH and SW go, while RW guesses
(includes golf, running, volleyball, taekwondo, boxing, pingpong, swimming, etc. RW does really well guessing)
*KH does this weird wavy thing that no one knows lol*
*more charades and laughing at KH*
MC: okay okay, time's up. RW you did well. team a got 16 correct (out of 22). great job!
RW: *gets it five minute after everyone else lol* OH! *claps for himself while henry gives him a funny look haha*
MC: haha RW only just got it. well team A got a good score, team B has to work hard too. team B, please stand up.
*team B gets up*
SW: *says something*
HK: donghae knows it all
MC: who will guess? oh DH will guess. okay, well i might have to be one of your members (since team B is short one). *goes to side with HK and Henry*
HK & Henry whisper together
SW: *says something again lol*
HK: *interrupts before MC can translate SW* Uhh...henry has a problem haha. because he grew up in canada, he can't really read these chinese characters.
MC: ohhh
HK: okay, how about this. let's do it together so if Henry knows it, he can do it. and if not, i'll do it. i'll help him from behind.
Henry: *fails at first one lol*
HK: *does like the first 5* XD
DH: *guesses*

HK: *pretty much does the rest except soccer and volleyball*
DH: *really cute while guessing (wow i'm so biased i'm sorry~)*

RW: YAY TEAM A!
MC: okay, time is the same, team B got 12...
HK: it's not our fault! *excuses*
ZM: team B looked better doing it b/c they had 2 people and we (team A) went solo.
MC: so the HK and Henry team works well; one is a spectator while the other performs haha.
SW: but you know it's really not fair b/c team B already saw what team A did. :(
MC: oh i see, so how will we address this? we'll get one member from team A and one from team B to come to the front and dance for us. go SW...because you won, haha. get the music ready. okay, let's welcome siwon~
SW: *goes up* i have no idea when i became super junior's dance rep (or something to this effect) *laughs*
MC: SW, are you going to perform by yourself or are you going to find someone to do it with you?
RW: hangeng! hangeng-ge! (god i'm going to have to start romanizing his name han geng...or at least start thinking of his name that way in my head...eventually...)
SW: hangeng-gege (alskjflOMGSODIRTY). hurry up and come here. *pulls HK from his seat* i'll just stand here and hankyung can do the sexy pose. then i'll dance.
HK: *looks at him and kind of laughs, then sits back down*

ZM: Honestly I'm not a dancer in the group but everyone looked so happy I thought I might as well...
HK: What do you mean, not a dancer?
MC: What ZM means is that he's a better singer. Let's give him a chance to sing. Kyuhyun, get ready (you're next).
ZM: Should I sing now? Okay, I'll sing something people are familiar with. *sings Forever Love by Wang Lee Hom*
everyone: *applause!*
MC: okay next, Kyuhyun~ You're too quiet. Have you been sleeping?
KH: *laughs and shakes his head, gets ready to sing* *U music plays* Oh no, no! *shakes his head*

KH: *sings Teresa Teng's (月亮代表我的心) The Moon Represents My Heart*
ZM: *mouths along all happy*
everyone: *applause*
SW: when we hear kyu's voice we will sleep well
MC: O rly? Well then in a little bit sing "(insert song title)", I haven't been sleeping well recently lol.
SW: once we were at a bar and kyuhyun said to me 'hyung, goodnight' and i immediately fell asleep. (XD wtf siwon)
MC: *translates* so just then our Team A and Team B both did very well. Now we're going to do "Who is the Mirror Prince" (uhhh...the literal translation is retarded but basically the game is that each team has a member up who has to act out the word/character the MC reads out)
MC: Team A will have 4 members, Team B will have 3.
HK: We need a 4th. Can we have you? I'll MC and you can participate, haha.
MC: haha no, I'll give the prompts.
SW: I have a question! (to MC) You aren't married yet?
MC: ahaha, why?
SW: because if you marry one day, you're sure to be a really good mom.
MC: really? Oh thank you. *flustered*
SW: *pretends to be MC talking to litle kid* What are we going to learn today? (he's saying she's patient/has a friendly way of speaking to guide people along)
MC: thank you thank you. i'll work hard. okay, Team A, who's up?
RW: *stands up*
Henry: *stands up for B team*
MC: okay, Team A's RW and Team B's Henry are up. I'm going to give a prompt and they'll act for the camera. okay, the first one is - 阳光大男孩 (literally "sunshine big boys" but it means the "golden boy"--you know, the super popular one who's good at everything).
RW: ahhh how am i going to do that? *poses*
HK: (to RW) *laughing* ahh, too old!
MC: Henry, you have to do it too.
Henry: *poses*

MC: okay second, 忧郁王子 (the sullen prince). 1, 2, 3...
RW & Henry: *poses, RW with a sexy finger to his lip*

HK: *dies of laughter in the bg while being groped/boytouched by ZM*

MC: okay everyone, so who wins? team A or team B? Team B right. good job Henry!

SW: honestly though, in korea, brokers (经纪人) do this when they greet each other!

MC: wait, why do i have to act?

HK & ZM: *looking at MC's prompt sheet*
MC: wait, it's right here
HK & ZM: *ignore her as ZM points out the prompts for the game*
HK: oh okay, right here.
MC: yes, you can use the prompts from either A or B.
ZM: *moves away* how come i also saw a prompt on there for "sexy goddess"? lol
HK: okay first something easy: 怪物史菜克 (Shrek). hey, stand in the middle, don't be so far away.
MC: okay. *moves*
ZM: *acts like an ape lol*
MC: *laughing* Have mercy, I haven't married yet. (meaning, she can't do anything too stupid to drive away suitors)
HK: Oh you haven't married yet? *laughs* Okay, then 'muscleman'.
ZM & MC: *act it out*
MC: okay? are we good?
HK: next, sexy pose! :D

MC: haha are we done? *goes back to seat* oh HK gave me some hard ones, I'll remember you! now our new game is "insert name here (too lazy to translate)" where i'll count to 5 and you have to put on a different expression each time i call a number. (what the hell, china? what's the point of this?)

MC: everyone, sjm has put together a great performance and now we have a lot of questions to ask everyone. b/c you have a lot of fans who have questions they asked over the net. so, first, let's ask HK. HK, what's your ideal woman like?
HK: pretty, filial/dutiful, tall, body in good shape...
MC: oh like this? i wonder if people are examining themselves now, haha. so i hear you like a famous actress in korea?
HK: ah, yes, *insert name i don't recognize b/c he says it in chinese*
MC: so what about in china?
HK: um, no, well it's because i spent all my time in Korea working.

HK: to do well in my role as olympic torchbearer and that sjm will do well.

MC: SW says that HK likes to hit his members when he has free time.
HK: if all 7 of us have free time, i want to take everyone sightseeing.

MC: next, siwon. everyone says you're very handsome. do you think this way too?
SW: ah, no, i've never thought of myself that way!
MC: o rly? *joking* liar! anyway so you must have a lot of female fans (okay i had the hardest time figuring this out at first because the word is 粉丝, which literally - and usually - means "noodles" roflwtf. this is a transliteration of "fans" though. um, whatever, china). do a lot of female fans confess to you?
HK: well most of our fans are all female (in the sense that "pretty much all our fans are female, woman, why are you asking this?")
SW: *dies of laughter* well, actually, no fans have confessed. they only stare at us from far away. *assumes fangirly pose of hands to his mouth and staring longingly lol* or they send us things to eat. but i don't think any of them have confessed.
MC: *translates* have you confessed?
SW: have i confessed? oh no, no. I...really don't need it. (doesn't SW have a gf? Stella Kim?)
MC: next question, siwon. what do you think are the similarities and differences of chinese and korean fans?
SW: a lot of people ask what the difference is b/w korean and chinese fans, but other than the language, they're basically the same. they really love us and support us. thank you, everyone (to the fans).
MC: i'm sure sjm will get more and more fans in the future and you will experience that passionate support.
MC: next, kyuhyun. some people have said kyuhyun's chinese pronunciation is very good.
HK: ah, no, i said that, lol.
MC: so what's the phrase you say best?
KH: "zhen de ma" ("really?") *confused, consults ZM for translation* ah, ah I don't know Chinese.
SW: when we go to a chinese restaurant, hankyung and henry won't say anything, and kyuhyun will call the fuwuyuan (er)

MC: so DH can you tell us an event that touched you recently?
DH: recently the thing that touched me most was in (the end of) February, for our 3rd year anniversary, *fails at either korean or counting lol, is groped by siwon* we had a concert. that time really moved me. we were with the fans for 3 hours, and the fans sang songs for us. it really moved me.
MC: *sums up in Chinese except way shorter* also, people know you have a (precious) dog? what's its name?

DH: its name is "meo" (about his dog)
MC: what does it mean?
DH: well it's from romeo & juliet.
MC: haha it's called romeo but he calls it meo. next, RW! what's your favorite color?
RW: i like red. and i really like blue, the color of the ocean. suju's representing color is blue. (so elf holds blue balloons when we perform. *not in subs but he says this in korean more or less)
MC: *translates*
HK: yes, it's sky blue, gemstone blue.
MC: *in chinese* fans also want to ask, what's the difference b/w chinese girls and korean girls? *in korean* what's the difference b/w chinese girls and korean boys?

RW: (to MC) do you like korean guys?
MC: i like the type of guys who are like you all.

RW: the only difference b/w chinese girls and korean girls are their nationality. korean girls are very carefree. every time i meet chinese girls, they always say "hello~", and i see their smiling faces and i feel like they're very bright/carefree. korean girls and chinese girls are both very bright/carefree (明朗).
MC: *translates* ok, next, henry. henry, i've heard you know many languages. and that you play violin verrry well. why are you so talented?
henry: ...*blush* *awkward*
MC: so did you play violin for a long time?
Henry: *awkwardly* yeah i started playing violin at 6. and at 8 y/o i started piano. i used to want to be a violinist but later i wanted to be a singer.
MC: henry, what's your feeling about sjm?
henry: .......*fails at articulating himself in chinese* *looks at hankyung* gege, help me?
ZM: he's too happy to speak. this is the first time henry's come to china.
HK: *nodnod* yes yes.
zM: his parents are chinese but this is his first time in beijing. when he got off the plane he asked me 'gege, what's beijing like?' i said just look at beijing's airport and its subways. on the second day, we almost couldn't get out (idk what he's referring to, crazy fans or just crowds of people?).
HK: and also, before we got on the plane, i was really sleepy but he was really happy and excited. i was like 'no, no i'm sleepy. let's talk later when we get to the airport.' but he was really excited about going to beijing together.
SW: i was surprised, because henry's chinese is better than mine, when he asked me "siwon ge, what's china like?" i said "oh of course it's great!" i thought that was really funny.
MC: because our henry is an overseas chinese in Canada, he has the feeling that he really wants to get to know canada. so welcome~ next, ZM. so you have a lot of MCing experience. now i'm going to let you MC, can you help me ask everyone one question?

MC: yes, but first, talk about your past experiences
ZM: *something about his feeling/experience in SJM and that he was really happy about joining SJM*
